Song History
Written by The Zombies, "Time of the Season" is on the album Odessey and Oracle. The band broke up two weeks after this was released in 1967. In the US, it wasn't released until 1969, almost two years after the band disbanded. Lead singer Colin Blunstone went on to have a successful solo career including a #15 UK hit in 1972 "Say You Don't Mind" and was the guest vocalist on Dave Stewart's (not the Eurythmics Dave Stewart) 1981 UK #13 cover of "What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted."
