Description
The original War Memorial and Coliseum complex was dedicated on October 25, 1959. Since then a large renovation project has brought a new coliseum and a much bigger parking lot. On January 29, 1983 North Carolina Tarheels superstar Michael Jordan had his highest scoring game as a Tarheel, scoring 39 points against Georgia Tech before 14,423 spectators at Greensboro Coliseum.
