This show was advertised in the May 31, 1993, issue of New York Magazine and was listed on the venue's May 1993 calendar. We also received the master DAT tape from the only taper in attendance. Unfortunately, he was only able to record the first set of the show. You can clearly hear in the recording LeRoi confirm that the band would be playing two sets.

Note that previously a Dave and Tim concert is listed as May 27, 1993 at the Jefferson Theater (or, alternately, the Charlottesville Performing Arts Center); however, the taper confirmed DMB was in New York City playing this show that night and his calendars from the venue confirm the date, so the Dave & Tim can't be the correct date.

At the Dave & Tim show, Dave mentions that his sister Jane is in attendance and that she hasn't yet seen him play with Tim (implying that this show happened after a few other Dave & Tim shows), and he also mentions that it's summertime. Since we know that Dave & Tim played at Live Arts on May 23, 1993, our best guess is that somewhere along the line the date and venue just got mixed up (The Jefferson and Live Arts are almost adjacent to one another) and that the May 27, 1993, Wetlands date is correct.
