According to some Dave Matthews reference, this was the band's first show in New York City. In the insert in the Robert Randolph and the Family Band album "Live at the Wetlands," DMB is listed with Pearl Jam and Rage Against the Machine as playing their first NY gigs at The Wetlands. If this really IS the date of their first NY show, then perhaps the venue is The Wetlands... perhaps it isn't. Who knows. For now we'll list this show as being played at The Wetlands, although it's safe to say we'll probably never know where this show was, or if it even took place unless a recording surfaces.
