According to the April 17–23, 2001, issue of C-VILLE Weekly, this show was originally intended to be at Charlottesville's Scott Stadium, but "UVA officials bailed out of negotiations to rent Scott Stadium to [Coran] Capshaw" (28).

This show was also originally intended to be broadcast on MTV's Live at the 10 Spot, but the show a few days later was booked and broadcast instead.
