Song History
Light Lift Me Up is a song that has only been sound checked, and not formally played in concert or on album. It was partially checked on 7.11.01 and checked in full before 8.10.01 in Toronto. The main guitar riff was quietly and quickly teased in the encore of the 8.24.01 show at the Gorge. No official reference was ever made to the song until 2010. In the official 2010 Tour Book sold by DMB, on the Molson Amphitheater page, the Toronto soundcheck and the song (using the fan-titled name) were highlighted:

"Here, on August 10, 2001, the band sound checked with "Dressed In Black" and "Light Lift Me Up", two long time fan favorites that were, at the time, unreleased and never played in concert."

As of yet, no hint of this song has been played since 2001.
