Song History
This intense number was there from the very beginning when it was a Dave solo feature for the early days. Much like Tripping Billies was the first dmb song to feature Boyd Tinsley, DIDO was the first song to feature the prowess of Carter Beauford as a full band song. The famous soundcheck of 8.4.92 features the band joyfully shelling it out into a steady feature of 92-93.
After only being played once in 1994, the song came in strong in 1995 and peaked in 1996 as one of the most played songs, including one of the top openers AND one of the top closers. Since then, the song enjoyed steady play but has become a rarity since 2005.
