This is a song written by Shannon Worrel about Dave's sister Jane Matthews. Jane and Shannon are/were best friends. Shannon has been known to reference Jane at shows. On one of them, she mentions that she's wearing a dress that her best friend Jane made for her. On a couple of other shows where Dave joins shannon on stage for the song, she even says, "This is a song about someone we both love a lot," and Dave says something along the lines of "ohhhhh yea."
