This song was written during the 2000 Lillywhite sessions and was originally played as a prelude to 'Grace is Gone" on 6.23.01 (hence the label), although Dave was playing around with the riff as early as the 6.15.99 radio show soundcheck. The same riff resurfaced again on 7.10.04 in a less elaborate framework but was still labeled "Prelude to Grace" as homage to the original version.
