The September 4, 1992, issue of The Collegiate Times lists DMB as playing at South Main Cafe that night. The band played this bar (and several others in Blacksburg) relatively often in its early years, but the CT appears to only make specific mention of this particular show.

South Main Cafe opened in 1973. It went out of business in 1995 and then re-opened under new ownership as Baylee's in 1996, but it continued to host regional and national touring bands several times a week. The bar changed owners again and closed for renovations in 2004, opening back up the following year as a restaurant called Cabo Fish Taco. The new business hosts live music on occasion but is primarily a restaurant and bar now.
