Dave performed as a part of the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities delegation to Cuba. Very little is known about this performance; it's possible that this was just a Carlos Varela show and Dave guested on a single song.

Shortly afterward, dmband.com posted a short blurb about the performance, stating that more information would be coming soon; however, nothing more was ever posted.
