It's been an exciting couple weeks! While loading into Governors Island it was hard to ignore the signs of the impending storm. As the crew, we really wanted the rest of the shows to go on as it had been quite a task getting all the gear out to the island by ferry. Not your everyday sort of load-in. We had no choice but to get out of town before the storm hit, but not before pulling out one pretty good show. We're quite sorry to those of you who are missing out due to Hurricane Irene. If you had tickets to the Governors Island shows, they're good for the rescheduled dates on Randall's Island on the weekend of September 16th. Click here if you have questions about tickets.

So, we left New York just before the storm hit. We spent a few nice days in Pittsburgh before flying out West to get ready for the Gorge shows, which brings us to tonight. The band played a great set to close out the first day of the DMB Caravan at the Gorge Amphitheater. It was a spectacular day of music out here. During the show Dave mentioned a Blind Pilot song that he's had on his mind. John Butler Trio did an amazing job at getting the crowd pumped! We're looking forward to catching up with some old friends tomorrow and hope to get a few up on stage. See you then.
