Remember Two Things
Producer: John Alagia & Dave Matthews Band

The original issue and the 1997 reissue are credited to "The Dave Matthews Band," while the 2014 reissue is credited to "Dave Matthews Band."

The album's liner notes specify "All songs recorded live at Trax, Charlottesville, VA, Flood Zone, Richmond, VA and The Muse, Nantucket, MA" except for Minarets and Seek Up; however, only the first three tracks are clearly live recordings. Dave has mentioned that I'll Back You Up was recorded in a closet at Trax, so the definition of "live" in this note doesn't necessarily mean "in front of a live audience" but also includes the musicians playing with each other at the same time. It's likely that Christmas Song was recorded in a similar fashion. Satellite, One Sweet World, and The Song That Jane Likes were probably recorded live (an audience can be heard very faintly and briefly at the end of the latter two) and then heavily edited in the studio, so it is impossible to pinpoint a recording date.

Minarets, Seek Up, Pay for What You Get, and Typical Situation were recorded by Tom Ohmsen at Flat Five Studios in Salem, VA.

The Song That Jane Likes, I'll Back You Up, and Christmas song were engineered and mixed by John Alagia at Rutabaga Studios in Arlington, VA.

Ants Marching, Tripping Billies, Recently, One Sweet World, Minarets, and Seek Up were mixed by Bob Dawson and John Alagia at Bias Recording in Springfield, VA.

Satellite was mixed by Bob Dawson, John Alagia, and Bob Robeson at Bias Recording in Springfield, VA.

Pay for What You Get and Typical Situation were mixed by Rob Evans.

When viewed correctly, the autostereogram on the album cover features a hand making a peace sign.

Initial issues were printed with liner notes that contained an erroneous citation of "Nantucket, RI". This was eventually corrected in later issues.
