Song History
There have been several transformations of this song throughout the years including the Dave/Carter early days, Boyd/Roi intros from fall 1992, Dave/Carter/Stefan through 1993, Dave opera outro for a time after the release of Before These Crowded Streets, and the Tripping Billies/Nature intro segues in 2012 (included in the Halloween song time, not Billies), just to name a few.

During the Dave & Tim show performed on 2.20.99, Dave mentions that this song was written about the same girl (Julia, ex-girlfriend) as I'll Back You Up.

After performing the song during the Dave and Carter: The Warehouse Session aired 11.19.20, Dave and Carter talk about the first performance of this song, 10.31.92.

Studio personnel:
Tim Reynolds - electric guitar/mandolin
John D'Earth - orchestral arrangements/trumpet
Kronos Quartet - violins/viola/cello
