“So a friend of mine, he's a filmmaker, documentary filmmakers, Jeremy, and he made a movie about a town here in North Carolina, Canton, and, do you all know Canton, It's a little town northwest North Carolina, it's paper town. Anyway, there's been a paper mill there, I think for well over a hundred years, you know, and the town grew around the paper mill, and the school, and all the restaurants, everybody was connected in some way to this paper mill. You know, and then the way things go now, because at some point not too long ago, but maybe it's always been this way, somebody greedy or a group of people that were greedy decided it would be better to shut down the paper mill. And so there's just these groovy people, all different kinds of people, lovely people like you and me in this little town. Anyway, I wrote a song about that little town, it's called Paper Town, and I've never played it, but I hope I don't screw it up, at least Casey's gonna help me.”
