Mother Night

This song was never known to have been played live, but it is known from an old Dave solo demo recording, which pre-dates Dave Matthews Band (c. 1989). The title comes from what Dave says at the end of the recording, which sounds like, "That was 'Mother's Night.'" (He's probably saying something else, but when the tape first surfaced, that's what people started calling it, and the name stuck.)
