This surprising cover of the Marylin Manson original made its appearances on the Dave and Tim '97 tour, and it was often mistakenly called "Crypto-Child" and "Crypto Torture" on tape setlists. Dave ranted a few times about Marylin Manson's music and how he respected his difficult artistic expression. His performances only covered the song's refrain.

The title is the adjective form of cryptorchidism, which is the condition of missing one or both testicles.

The lyrics that Dave sings are also in Manson's song Antichrist Superstar, which Tim has covered; however, the melody and chord progression are clearly those of Cryptorchid.
