Description
Assembly Hall opened in 1971 and regularly hosts the Indiana University basketball games. It is consistently sold out throughout the regular season. Its unconventional architecture favors the acoustic resonance of crowd cheering, though largely at the expense of seating with an obstructed view.
Some notable acts who have played concerts here include Elvis Presley, The Grateful Dead, The Eagles, The Who, and John Cougar Mellencamp.
