Song History
The Riff, a song about a man in the middle of a desperate attempt to fix a broken relationship, debuted in Camden on 6.27.12 the same day that the tracklisting for Away From the World was released. Later on 7.10.12 in Clarkston, Dave introduced the song for the first time and described it: "maybe it's little bit about how even how when you're walking down a noisy, happy, crazy street, you can be lonely as hell. I suppose I don't know, it might just be about love or something."
