Oh once a time, I dreamt that I was a mouse
creeping around the house, stealing what I can found
no one would know that I was ever there
'cept that I couldn't stop myself from leaving little brown lumps everywhere

Open your eyes and discover your size
minuscule rodent, life feeding on whites
man always thinks of himself all the time
wait till he finally sees what's really going on

All the while if I could be a plastic superhero
and I'd wave my plastic arms in the air and swoop down on the plastic world zero on my chest
if I could breathe, I would all offer my plastic armors
and stare through all the plastic people, and I discourage them all from their brothers

Oh, then the fortress walls caving in
and now burst the flaming of the fire from within
finding that the little man and the women were all around
only then they were the peaceful ones, they were God's favorite crowd

Oh and all, hoping all that I could fly there
swooping all the plastic buildings and watching them melt into a pile there
we would take over all the planet [?], and cover everything with new vinyl
and the world would be a better place, summer all year long and gone, and that would be final

And maybe all then
never minding time
wouldn't worry our plastic way
now the [??] when the walls came up
only plastic men would survive
