Little Red Bird is a song released on the Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King bonus disc, also titled Little Red Bird. It made its live debut at a Dave & Tim show on 12.10.09 in Las Vegas, the first of three nights. It was also played 12.12.09 (the third night), marking its live release debut on the Live in Las Vegas full show release.

The song made its debut at a full band show in the encore, though played solo by Dave, on 6.25.10 in Cuyahoga Falls. At that show, Dave gave the following introduction providing some background into the writing of the song:

"I was visiting, a few years ago with a friend of mine, I was visiting these little tiny islands in the middle of the Indian Ocean and there was this little, little bird and it had just one leg. But it would come and bounce around underneath the chair, and so you knew it was that bird 'cause I'm sure there's just not a bunch of tiny little red birds with one leg. So then I wrote this song over there a couple years ago or something like that."
